Wolf Wiemer backround

Throughout my extensive background I have been responsible for purchasing a wide variety of goods and services and establishing systems contracts for MRO. As such, I negotiated and executed: software licenses, tri-alliances with respect to legal and environmental firms, as well as transfer of intellectual property as it pertains to hardware and software. All this was accomplished using leveraged spend data obtained by spend analysis and internal co-ordination of the A/P data and various end user departments. More recently I have been heavily involved with strategic sourcing and restructuring of procurement activities at the last two companies I worked for. My responsibilities also have included procuring forms, temporary employees, and facilities.

As a global commodity manager I have done spend analysis, developed and led cross-functional teams, and utilized e-sourcing tools to help leverage corporate spend while minimizing corporate resources. Recently I have been doing some consulting. I have audited and negotiated sub-contracts on behalf of a military/ defense contractor and an aerospace integrator. We have been able to far exceed the desired two percent reductions. In some cases this has been closer to and even exceeding 20%.
